What
else do we do?
For
most of us, church life extends well beyond Sundays. We positively
encourage people to get fully involved in the life of the church.
There are opportunities for Christian ministry in just about every
area: hospitality, praise & worship, creative arts, evangelism,
administration, befriending and lots more. There are also openings
for helping with our children and youth ministries.
Our
alpha course is a very good way of learning more about Christianity,
whether you're a sceptic, an agnostic, an atheist or even a believer
who wants to go back to basics. According to the people who have
been on one recently, it is entertaining, stimulating and informative!
You also get dinner cooked for you some nights.
Housegroups meet
in people's home usually on a Wednesday or Thursday evening and
are a great way of getting to know people in the church, exploring
your faith together and supporting one another in everyday ways.
We'll be happy to tell you of one near you.
What we all have
in common is that we love God and want to serve Him by spreading
the gospel, by loving one another and by serving our community.

"I
came to worship in Bearsden Baptist Church in 2002 after many
years as a member of a church in the West End of Glasgow. Since
coming to the Fellowship I have found a very friendly atmosphere
and especially among the women of the church."
